Life-threatening: Man facing murder trial throws complainant from second floor

Police arrested Arshad and took Shehzad to shifted Civil hospital, where the doctors declared him to be out of danger.

A man facing attempted murder charges seriously injured the person who registered a case against him by pushing him down from the second floor of the sessions court before the hearing on Saturday.


Mohammad Arshad and his friends were accused of attempting to murder his former business partner, Shehzad, at Boat Basin last month, over a financial dispute. Shehzad was sitting outside the courtroom, waiting for the case to be heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Shahid Hussain Chandio, when Arshad came from behind and pushed him.

The police arrested Arshad and took Shehzad to shifted Civil hospital, where the doctors declared him to be out of danger.
