The Sindh Home Ministry wrote a letter to the Punjab Home Department to transfer Haroon, a former Pakistan army officer who is accused of being involved in the kidnapping of businessman Satish Anand, amongst other high profile cases against him.
Anand, a rich Hindu businessman, was kidnapped from Karachi in 2008 for a ransom of Rs20 million.
