Inter Milan take on Marseille in a Champions League last-16 clash at the Stade Velodrome tonight hoping to rejuvenate a campaign unravelling at bewildering speed. Claudio Ranieri’s side has not won in six games in all competitions during recent weeks. Inter’s squad remains largely unchanged from the one that claimed the 2010 Champions League trophy and Ranieri insists they have the temperament to turn their season around. “I will work on the compactness and pride of our players,” said Ranieri. “All these defeats are hurting. We have character but we must show it.” Meanwhile, Bayern Munich travel to FC Basel.
