Tennis: Aqeel wins Westbury Open title

KARACHI: Pakistan number one Aqeel Khan clinched the Westbury Open Ranking Tennis Championship after he defeated former Davis Cupper Nomi Qamar 6-3, 6-3 in the final of the men's singles event at the Karachi Gymkhana. Meanwhile, Hania Naveed brought down Neha Khan 6-3, 6-2 in the women's singles final, whereas Islamabad's Nofil Kalim outplayed Ibrahim Iltifat 6-4, 6-3 to lift the under-15 boys' singles title. In the U13 decider, Raza Sawani defeated Hassaan Farooq 10-8.
