Hepatitis control: 70 patients given free injections
DHQ said that as many as 1,470 hepatitis-C patients at this hospital had benefited from the HCP
FAISALABAD:
The Health Department officials distributed free of cost injections among 70 hepatitis-C patients at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital on Wednesday under the Hepatitis Control Programme (HCP).
DHQ Medical Superintendent Dr Arif Ali said that as many as 1,470 hepatitis-C patients at this hospital had benefited from the HCP so far. He said though hepatitis- C was a fatal disease, but was curable if diagnosed and treated in time.
