Higher studies: Universities conduct entry tests

2,700 candidates appeared in the entry test conducted at the Public School on Sunday

HYDERABAD: Approximately 2,700 candidates appeared in the entry test conducted at the Public School on Sunday, for admissions in the Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam. The university has offered 1,400 seats in its five faculties, including Agricultural Engineering, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Social Science, Crop Production and Crop Protection, and two institutes, Information Technology Centre and Institute of Food Sciences and Technology. The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University in Shaheed Benazirabad district also held entry tests of 194 candidates for its maiden batch on Sunday. The new university is offering bachelor programmes in English, Business Administration and Education.
