Golf: Wi leads Woods, Mickelson

PEBBLE BEACH: Charlie Wi fired a three-under par 69 to hold onto a slim lead but Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson climbed into contention at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Wi was at 15-under 199 with a three-shot lead at the close of the third round. Meanwhile, 14-time major winner Woods and Mickelson were not far behind. Woods rediscovered his putting to shoot a five-under 67 and was four strokes adrift of Wi at 11-under 203. Mickelson finished at nine-under after posting a two-under 70.
