LARKANA: The workers of rice mills protested against corruption in government institutions on Friday. The protest was called by Rice Factories Labour Union and was led by Murtaza Korai and Urs Kalahoro. They said that the Employees Old Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) was not registering the workers and the Sindh Employees Social Security Institution was selling medicines in the market instead of using them to treat the public. They also alleged that the Sindh Workers Board demanded bribes from them for issuing them funds for marrying their children.
