ISLAMABAD:

Federal Law Secretary Justice retired Aqil Mirza goes on a 20-day medical leave at a time when the Supreme Court is grilling the law ministry officials over the reopening of Swiss cases.

The leave has been approved by Federal Law Minister Babar Awan. Sources say senior Joint Secretary Syed Sultan Shah has been given the additional charge of the law secretary.

A few days earlier, Anwar Mansoor Khan resigned as the attorney general over differences with the law ministry.
