PiC catastrophe: ‘Shahbaz should accept responsibility’

LAHORE: A federal minister on Wednesday blamed the Punjab government for the loss of life in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology catastrophe. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Pakistan People’s Party Lahore president Samina Khalid Ghurki, in a press release, said that Shahbaz Sharif could not hold the federal government for the deaths. The federal government only issues licences, the release said, drug inspectors who should check the quality of medicines come under the provincial government.
