Research Collaboration: MoU signed by IUB, Karachi University

BAHAWALPUR: The Islamia University Bahawalpur and the Hussain Ebrahim Jamal Research Institute of Chemistry (HEJRIC), Karachi University, hace signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaboration in research and faculty exchange. IUB Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar and HEJRIC Director Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhary signed the agreement on behalf of their institutions at IUB on Monday. IUB faculty members and students from departments of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Pharmacy were also present on the occasion.  The IUB vice chancellor said joint projects carried out under the agreement would help in promotion of academic and research standards of the two institutes. He said the IUB faculty would be able to benefit from the state-of-the-art laboratories at HEJRIC in their research works. HEJRIC director Iqbal Chaudhary spoke about latest research underway in medicine.
