Jubilation: 63 maunds cake cut in Chiniot

FAISALABAD: A 63 maund cake was cut during an Eid Miladun Nabi (peace be upon him) ceremony at Darbar Aziz Sharif on Sunday.  A Darbar official said services of a number of bakers were obtained to make the cake. He said the cake was over 1,000 square feet in area and eight inches thick.

He said 20 kg wheat flour, 20 kg khoya, 20 kg chocolate, five kg almonds, 200 litre milk, 25 maunds sugar, five maunds cream, 20 maunds butter, 100 kg coconuts, 48 kg glucose, five kg pistachio nuts and 36 bottles of Roh Afza were used to make the cake.
