PESHAWAR: A rally in the provincial capital against the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products was hijacked by civil society members who were demanding the release of missing persons. The All Pakistan Oil Tanker Owners Association had organised the rally to press the government to withdraw the substantial hike in the prices of petroleum products. Organisers warned that they would launch a province-wide agitation, if the government did not take steps to lessen the problems faced by the people.
