Torrential Rains: Roof collapse kills man, his daughter

QUETTA: A man and his eight-year-old daughter were killed while his wife and other two children were wounded when the roof of their house collapsed in the Surab area of Kalat district on Saturday. Officials said that Elahi Bakhsh and his family were sleeping in their house on Gidar Street in Sorab when the roof caved in, killing him and his eight-month-old daughter on the spot. The bodies were shifted to Kalat’s Civil Hospital and handed over to the relatives for burial after medico-legal formalities.
