Transfers and promotions: Reshuffling in bureaucracy notified



The Establishment Division (ED) has notified fresh transfers and promotions in various departments. According to the notifications, the government has approved the promotions of National Forensic Science Agency Project Director Khalid Ali Raza Gardezi and Sindh Culture Department Director General Muhammad Ramzan Awan to grade-20 and both men, along with Arif Ibrahim, a BS-20 Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the ED, as joint secretaries in the law ministry with immediate effect.


Munir Ahmed, also an OSD in the Establishment Division, has been posted as Interprovincial Coordination Division joint secretary.

Meanwhile, Arshad Farooq Faheem, who was in the ED awaiting posting, has replaced Arshad Mahmood as the Human Rights Division joint secretary, while Mahmood has been directed to report to the ED with immediate effect.

Apart from that, National Disaster Management Authority Director Saieed Ramzan, a BS-19 officer, has also been transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the Gilgit-Baltistan governor.

Asjad Mahmood, a BS-19 officer on special duty in ED, has been transferred and posted as Human Rights deputy secretary.
