Administrative Changes: G-B Cabinet announces 3 new divisions

The CM says this action was taken in line with people’s aspirations and resolution passed by the assembly.

GILGIT: Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) Cabinet on Tuesday decided to divide region into three divisions for better administrative results. Chief Minister Syed Mehdi Shah said Gilgit, Hunza Nagar and Ghizer will be one division while district Astore and Diamer will be the second division. Baltistan region has already been notified and is functional. The CM said this action was taken in line with people’s aspirations and resolution passed by the assembly.
