NAB: Proceedings against PPP MNA restored

LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Tuesday set aside an order of a single bench and restored proceedings of a National Accountability Bureau reference against PPP MNA Tariq Anees.

The single bench had stayed proceedings before an accountability court in a reference alleging illegal assets. The NAB then challenged the order by filing an intra court appeal. The bench headed by Chief Justice Shaikh Azmat Saeed accepted NAB’s plea and restored proceedings before the accountability court in the reference against Anees.
