GUJRANWALA: Jamiat-i-Ulema Islam Fazlur Rehman (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Islamic economic system was the only economic system that could save Pakistan while speaking at his Thafuz-i-Islam and Pakistan conference at Sheranwala Bagh on Sunday. Rehman said that the reason for the crash of Wall Street and the financial ruin of the Western world was a result of their moral degradation and feared that Pakistan was treading in their footsteps. “Rising Islamic awareness in the world is upsetting Europe and other anti-Islamic forces and that is why they are planning our destruction,” he added.
