Murder: Man axes step mother over money

FAISALABAD: A young man axed his step mother in the Bahlak police station precincts on Sunday. According to police officials, Tibba Chak No548 resident Razia Bibi developed differences with her step son Zaheer Abbas over household finances. Neighbours told police that Abbas murdered Razia Bibi on Sunday morning with an axe and then fled the scene. Police officials have registered a case against the accused on the complaint of Zaheer’s father Jamil Abbas. The accused is still at large and police have launched a search operation.
