Riaz Ahmed | 13 years ago | Reply Please help me understand who is selecting this team for what reason? none of these jokers would be selected by any other team and what about even Azhar Ali not even knowing how to challenge his dismissal, a basic knowledge required for any batsmen was a total disgrace. England is an ordinary team but we made them look extra ordinary. Akmal brothers and Kaneria have been disgrace and should not play at all and so is Umar Amin a loser, what the heck he is doing, he is not good enough to bowl or bat why not try a Yaser or Fawad Alam they would have done much better. Only performance should matter and not what you have done for me if we are to have a professional. Even Salman has been pathetic as a batsmen and out as usual. The whole batting side might as well Start amer or Gul to open the innings? our best batsmen.
Khadimhussainsubhpoto | 13 years ago | Reply Tbe brittle inexperienced batting line again miserably failed to rise to the occassion and dampened all the hopes of Pakistani team to come back in the game strongly after Muhammad Asif's splendid bowling who restricted England to below 360, giving Pakistan a golden opportnity to bat well and come back in the game with positive mindset. But it was not to be. Our batting failed again. Now the danger of follow-on is looming large. Here, we can only pray for our team. No one can teach them unless they learn from the past mistakes. They must know that making a mistake is not a mistake, repeating a mistake is a mistake. Pakistan team is considered to be the most unpredictable team in the world. Given this quality of theirs, one can still be hopeful that they will do well as they have one more innings to correct and compensate their mistakes they did in the first inning. I wish them all the luck.
