Twice bitten: 2 killed by snake bite

FAISALABAD: A man and his uncle were killed due to snake bite in the area of the Bhowana police station on Wednesday. According to police officials, Mauza Shah Fateh Ali resident farmer Nazeer Ahmad was preparing fodder for his cattle when a snake bit him. Ahmad raised alarm and called for help and his uncle Latif rushed to his rescue. However, Latif was also bitten by the snake and both men died while waiting for medical aid. Local officials said that there was no one in the vicinity when the incident took place and the victims bodies were discovered by a worker who was labouring in a neighbouring field. Police officials have registered a case.
