MIRPUR (AJK): Kashmiris dwelling on both sides of the line of control and in other parts of the world will observe the Indian Republic Day, falling on January 26, as black day to invite the attention of the international community towards the continued illegal and forcible occupation of Jammu & Kashmir by India.

In Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), preparations are under way to hold protest rallies and demonstrations in all ten districts of the liberated territory. These protest marches and rallies will be the hallmark of the scheduled black day.

The day also marks complete solidarity with the people of Indian occupied Kashmir.

The protest rallies are arranged by various social, political and public representative organizations representing people from all spheres of life including lawyers, journalists, members of the business community, laborers, students, women and social and political workers.

In occupied Jammu Kashmir, complete strike throughout the held territory, on the call of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and supported by the AJK government, will be the hallmark of the day where life will come to a complete stand still following boycott of their routine activities by the Kashmiris belonging to all walks of life, the report reaching here said.

As long as they strike, shout, and throw stones in AJK, no body cares. When ET says, occupied Kashmir I hope it means AJK.

nobody is going to say a word against india…
why would any country support kashmir or pakistan on this issue for the risk of loosing ties with india….
History proves it…nobody has said anything..except 1 or 2 isolated opinions.
Even China is ambiguous on this issue…they avoid it
What to say about US,Europe and other nations :)

nobody in world supports you… keep on protesting for another 1000 years…

Pappu is very mistaken. The Palestinian people as well as other occupied peoples around the world support the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom. In addition, all those who believe in human rights and social justice support the Kashmiri people’s righteous cause. FREE KASHMIR! Love from your comrades in Occupied Palestine ♥

    @ John B

Well occupation is something that can be defined and rendered true or false by the people of the region to which you are referring as occupied.

Ask the people of AJK and Indian Kashmir: they will tell you what is ‘occupied’ and what is not :P

    @The Flying Object:
Which one of them shall I ask. Muslims, Sikhs, Hindus, Ladakh Bhuddists in India side of the J&K or the State of J&K assembly that still keeps the assembly seat open for the pakistan occupied Kashmir, or the EU parliament or the UN that refuses to entertain Pakistan claim any longer?

    @ John B

I said ‘People’. That includes everyone.
And you straight away go into religious discrimination…

As far as the EU and UN are concerned; they are useless… A group of nations runs them and exercises any means necessary to maintain its hegemony.

U think u can fool us with these kind of things… At least I won’t fall to your baseless, biased and distorted arguments.Recommend
