SUKKUR: A woman identified as Hajra Khatoon was shot dead by her husband Abdul Ghafoor Buriro on the pretext of karo kari on Tuesday, said the Mirpur Buriro police. Abdul Ghafoor and his accomplices Khair Mohammad Buriro and Ali Raza Buriro killed Hajra in the couple’s house in the Ranjhapur village near Thul. The suspects managed to escape. Hajra’s mother registered a complaint against Abdul Ghafoor, Ali Raza and Khair Mohammad but no arrests were made when this report was filed.
