Multan Kidnapping: Police form body to recover abductees

The police chief discussed the strategy for the immediate recovery of the foreign abductees with his team.

LAHORE: On the directions of Punjab police chief Javed Iqbal, a high-level committee has been formed for the recovery of two foreign nationals who were kidnapped from Multan earlier this week. SSP Operations Multan Azhar Ikram will head the committee which comprises four other officials. Earlier, IG Iqbal, along with Home Secretary Shahid Khan and investigators visited the crime scene. Iqbal later presided over a high-level meeting held at the office of RPO Multan. Members of the investigation team, CPO Multan, Commissioner Multan and all senior police officers of the region attended the meeting. The police chief discussed the strategy for the immediate recovery of the foreign abductees with his team. The IGP also directed them to give priority to the case.
