KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) welcomed several new politicians into its fold on Friday.

In Sukkur, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Zafar Ali Shah’s nephew Asad Ali Shah and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Sindh Sardar Ghulam Shabbir Lakho joined the Imran Khan-led party. Ex-PPP leader in Gizri Alamdin Mengal also joined the party with about 200 supporters after meeting PTI Sindh central vice president Najeeb Haroon.

Mengal alleged that members of the PPP had conspired against him and replaced him with Najmi Alam. “I did not speak to anyone from the PPP leadership to tell them about my decision,” Mengal told The Express Tribune. He said that he would use his influence in other areas such as Hijrat Colony and Shireen Jinnah Colony to attract more workers. PML-N Sindh general secretary Saleem Zia was unaware of the development.

I will not vote for Nawaz, Musharaf, Zardari and Altaf. They are status quo and I can't make the mistake again. Imran Khan seems a plausible option with good credentials, better than the others.

I think Imran khan should be careful about party new leaders layality, not all but some these new comers may be opportunist .they they in future might destroy the PTI. This is my sincere advice to Imran Khan. Saeedullah Kakar ,Quetta. .
