Snooker: Khurram off to a winning start

Khurram Agha lived up to his reputation, recording back-to-back victories at the Sindh Snooker Cup.

KARACHI: Pre-tournament favourite Khurram Agha lived up to his reputation, recording back-to-back victories at the Sindh Snooker Cup currently underway in Karachi. The former Asia number two defeated Kashif Khan 4-2 with frame scores of 70-17, 54-67, 83-32, 0-73, 67-08, 71-24 that included breaks of 61 and 65. In his second battle, Agha overcame Vishan Gir 4-3 with a 66-32, 49-41, 7-66, 65-52, 46-57, 40-86, 68-33 scoreline. Javed Ansari and Farrukh Usman also registered two victories each yesterday.
