ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Thursday that he cannot guarantee if Mansoor Ijaz will be arrested on his arrival or not.
Rehman said that he will follow court orders in this regard.
Speaking about Ijaz’s safety, Rehman said that he being the interior minister will provide complete security to him from the time he lands in Islamabad to his entire stay.
“I can even offer to make a separate secured suite for him in my ministry,” he said.
Rehman however added that Ijaz should not be scared if he has not done anything wrong.
The interior minister further said that the nation wanted to know how Ijaz had toppled Benazir Bhutto’s government and why did he speak against the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and “on whose orders?”

@Munnawar Mohsin: CIA agents dont offer to testify in courts. Secondly, if he is an agent, this enough to execute zardari and haqqani for working with a CIA agent!
Grow up kidoo
Once again it is America who is going to save you ......... LEARN TO BE GREATFUL ..........
Mansoor Ijaz is a CIA agent and a commentator on a wrestling of girls with obscene scenes in it is going to bring down our Prestigious Army and Elected Government. This is the same guy who writes very bad things about ISI, Army and democratic government. Can the people of Pakistan ask this government why he was granted with a Pakistani visa. By the way I want to ask how the justice will be served. Mansoor Ijaz has himself admitted to being the main culprit who wrote and sent the actual memo and yet he is immune from prosecution. Where is the justice in this?
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui: I agree. If his story is to be believed, he has created enough chaos by first agreeing to write & hand over the said memo & then breaking a gentleman's agreement with Haqqani to spill all beans. He looks like a 'pucca' enemy of Pakistan. God knows if he can still be called a 'gentleman' but it is unfortunate that his word is given undue importance. Even if his allegations are true, he has showed himself as a worthless person by breaking a gentleman's word. He deserves to be arrested for an in-depth probe.
@Zeeee: Ijaz said a lot of bad things about the ISI and the Army too. Don't you wan't to take him to court for that?
The reason PAK is a failed state is they make up the laws as they go along.
All of this is great drama to take the focus on the PAK 's failures....
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui: We no longer have dreaded FSF gestapo of ZA Bhutto to arrest all enemies of PPP.
paid comment by "Muhammad Ali Siddiqui" grow up if ur not gona grow up at least fix up people like you will never change
@Harry Stone: Oh, its just another tactic for saving Zardari
On what charges my daer! @Mohammad Ali Siddiqui:
@Mohammad Ali Siddiqui: Dont be emotional bro....Govt havent any proof against him....Then y arrest????
Arrested for what?
The enemy of Pakistan is coming to Pakistan to make more chaos than what he has created through electronic and print media.
He should be arrested and taken to the task as soon as lands and then he should be taken to the court for his statement and thereafter should be sent to jail till the final decision of the Supreme Court on the memo scandal case.
