Fatal: Bike rider killed in accident

RAWALPINDI: A motorcycle rider was killed after being hit by a speeding van in Waris Khan on Tuesday. Malik Rafaqat lodged a report with the police that his son, Khurram Shahzad, a motor mechanic, was riding a motorcycle after having repaired it when a speeding passenger van (PI-1405) hit him on Murree Road. Khurram fell on the road and died. The police registered a case against the driver and started investigation. Meanwhile, the same police nabbed Gul Nisar and seized 15 bottles of liquor from him.
