Islamic banking: Standard Chartered opens new branch

Branch will provide a comprehensive value added Islamic banking customer value proposition.

KARACHI: As part of a commitment to provide high quality Shariah-compliant banking products and services to customers, Standard Chartered Bank inaugurated an Islamic banking (Saadiq) branch at Khayaban-e-Hafiz, DHA. In a press release, the bank says this branch will provide a comprehensive value added Islamic banking customer value proposition. This offers its customers a similar range of products, quality of service and access to the same, extensive distribution channels that the conventional customers are accustomed to.
