Highway robbery: Passenger bus robbed

Passenger wagon was carrying people who were on their way back after participating in the Urs of Data Gunj Bakhsh.

FAISALABAD: Unidentified robbers held up a coaster and a loader in the Lundianwala police station precinct on Monday. According to eyewitnesses, the passenger wagon – that was carrying people who were on their way back after participating in the Urs of Data Gunj Bakhsh in Lahore –  was intercepted by five armed bandits who stopped the vehicle near Chak No560-GB in Pachiyana. The men stole cash, gold, mobile phones and other valuables from the passengers at gunpoint and fled the scene.
