PESHAWAR:

Speakers at a seminar stressed on the need to forge unity among political parties to foil anti-democratic forces and save democracy.

The seminar on ‘Save Democracy Campaign’ was held by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Civil Society Network at the Peshawar Press Club on Friday.

Speakers emphasised that the government should complete its tenure and called for unity to fight against anti-democratic forces.

They also called on civil society to create awareness among people on the prevailing situation, which they claimed was deliberately created by anti-democratic forces to remove the present government.

Speakers said Pakistan is passing through a critical stage and there is a need to remove differences and work together to uphold the country’s sovereignty and integrity.
