Bashing the PML-N, Khan said that it was the N-league which had supported the current government and is a part of the system which it talks about changing.
“We will not join the PML-N… We will contact all other parties,” he said while adding that the PML-N is responsible for the government still being in power.
When the Supreme Court was going to take action against the government on the NRO issue, we called for elections, but Nawaz Sharif said that he wanted to save the system, Khan added.
“If the PML-N is serious about their stance, then why is it not resigning from the assemblies?” he questioned.
He added that the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) issue has shaken up the political situation of the country and the “political mafia is attacking the judiciary to cover up their theft”.
The party chief announced that his party will hold a central executive meeting on January 14 to gather the likeminded people who are willing to back the judiciary in case it is attacked. “The Supreme Court is the only institution which has kept our country safe, otherwise, the NRO beneficiaries would have sold off the country by now.”
“Nawaz had said to [President Asif Ali] Zardari that even if the PPP [Pakistan Peoples Party] leaves you, we will be standing with you.” But, he said, that his party is standing up to democracy and the Constitution of the country and “will not back any military takeover”.
He added that the only democratic solution to the problems of the country is free and fair elections. Around 45% of the electoral rolls in 2008 elections were fake, hence new electoral rolls should be made for fair elections to get out of the current mess, Khan said.
“The nation can see that the government is trying to become a martyr, but a martyr is one who dies for a noble cause… If they make a sacrifice for the sake of their bank accounts, then the whole nation will distribute sweets on the roads for their 'martyrdom',” the party chief said.
Commenting on the current government-military rift, Khan said that government should only listen to the Supreme Court as it has run out of time for an APC (All Parties Committee) meeting.

I would like to inform you that before three days we saw in Jeedah airport 400 pakintanis female house maids arrived from Pakistan
So as per our opinion its really ashamed for us as a muslims and as admirable Nation
So kindly take action on this matter
Kind Regards
@nasir: You got that right. He shouldn't make alliances with any other party.
I think something is wrong with IK. He is very light in criticism of PPP and others but upfront and personal with Sharif. He thinks that only way to victory is defeat PLMn. One thing for sure, he is no revolutionary.
dear IK, what about MQM ? Arent they supporting this PPP govt!! if they take out their support, this govt can't even passed their budget and assembly bills !
Khan, you can do anything to get into power, and you have proven that lately by compromising on your principle stance. We do not need people like you, you wont be able to change Pakistan, we need to stand united as one nation but you are creating all the fuss. This is a country and not a cricket team. You can lead a team of 11 men but not a nation with a population of 180 million. You are humbly requested not to poke your nose in political matters of the country.
@Awais Ch.: If he is the man of honour then those people who violated the Constitution of Pakistan what they are doing with him??. The PMLQ former lotas are all in PTI Now. People like Zaheer Khokhar is now appointed senior PTI member and he is the same person who went all the way to support Musharraf. In the past for Imran MQM was bad but now PMLN is worst while MQM is good. Is that what you call Principles or Hypocircy?
Hats off to Khan!!! I agree that he's not a good politician but a man of honor and a man of words. His struggle is great, his vision is clear, his patience is admirable. Believe me he is the only leader who can pull us out of quicksand.
Kaptaan? Mian Sb ka itna pressure, aisay to naheen Victory milay gi...Man up Khan
well said IK>................we r all with u!
....are you playing or kidding or qa double game....please look at the currupt ever ppp first then go to PML N...afterall nawaz sharif is not that bad if you compare it with PPP, who are taking every step to destroy our country....@@@ think khan
I have supported Imran Khan before his Lahore rally and am not one of those opportunists who showed up after that rally. I like his candor, charisma and sincerity. But always have doubt about his political savory. This is the time when he has to prove how he will work with other parties/forces out there.
Now when ruling alliance is rattling, need of the hour is that All opposition parties rise above their differences and unite on ONE goal – get rid of this corrupt government. Forget about past – neither PTI nor PML (N) is what they were yesterday. Both have moved/evolved from their past. It will be naïve to think that Imran Khan alone can get rid of this government – if so, why has he not done so? Unless he works in concert with other opposition parties he will be the one who will be providing lifeline to current government. And that will tarnish his political image very fast.
I want Imran Khan to succeed as he is the best hope out there but he has to learn how to tread through these times.
But PTI is ready to join hand with MQM and PMLQ, while also very eager to bring Musharaf back. Keeping in mind all in mind ALL above mentioned names Really i dont know how PTI will bring change????? PTI is just like Bangladesh cricket team led by Ricky Ponting and aiming to win the next world cup. How foolish????
Imran Khan when the whole world talks about Memo gate, PPP inability to govern, and crisis between army, government & SC, you seem to not come out of Mian Phobia !!!
So you see PTI is only meant to counter PMLN
MQM,PML-Q,ANP these main parties are left after leaving PML-N that imran khan contact with them these are also in government then why imran used to say only N-League support PPP for running government he is palying double standard
@Anum:
Politicians who are hungry for power would so any thing to get in.
All of you, please use your brains, did IK said he is ready to join hands with PPP or PMLQ ?? for god sake, he meant opposition parties like JI and other small parties.
he is against the government, how can he join hands with government parties ???
2ndly, IK has strongly denied to make any alliance with Musharraf !
@Zulfiqar: My dear brother if you dont go with the biased media and see the photo of apml jalsa from top of its stage. Youll realize for a first jalsa it was a really good show. PTI wasnt able to gather these many people when itself was a year old. So APML bravo! Why not a PTI and APML alliance
Sorry Imran, but "deep state" also does not like PMLN for their stiff stance against them. Military establishment can't overthrow a democratic government any more but they are investing in PTI, as their interests converge.
@ Malik,
After successful JALSA by APML?????
Dear Khan Sahib: Being a political leader, you should not forget, one day all this maybe hatched around you. Bring around political forces of this country, unite them against the gun-walas. This PPP govt. has only one year left. After that if a Dictator General Pervez Musharraf could not win the elections, present PPP cannot at any cost, come what may. You may become a new voice of our country.
It's funny how imran khan condems nawaz for his somersault on his words. look who's talking. the man who's been advocating change in politics and never to do traditional politics took in his party all the old faces of pakistan's politics. leave us alone imran khan, you have lost all your credibility. yeh mulk waqai Allah hi chala raha hai
Sir... Sometime you seem to be little confused or atleast you make ppl confuse by giving such comments ... By your comments can we conclude that you can sit with PPP ? MQM ? PMLQ? if yes then GOD BLESS YOU.. Secondly if u blame PMLN for supporting PPP for 3 years then sir your behavior is letting them complete the remaining 2 years. Think over it Opposition parties whether in parliament or not should join hand on single cause and that is to remove this government...
Nawaz is equally responsible for the prevailing fiasco by supporting the government in most critical times.
We have blind faith on IK, he is the only politician sincere with this country.
@Malik: Do you understand what is meant by "Succesful" jalsa? The jalsa had not even the numbers to get Mush elected as councilor.
PMLN and PPP will be wiped out in next election for sure. Everyone is underestimating APML - landing of commando will reveal actual direction of Pak politics. Pakistan first.
@Ahsan Raza: "Pricipled man" should be in inverted commas.
Mr. Khan, if you love pakistan then join hands with Pakistani patriot Pervaiz Musharaf….make the choice easy for the public.. we want Musharraf and we also want to give you a chance.. join hands.. for the country.. President Musharraf.. prime minister Khan... what a combination.. ill wear the green flag badge on my shirt every day to work... Pakistanis in and around the world dream of this combination.. Both these leaders have the same cause... SAB SAYE PEHLAY PAKISTAN!
actully he wants to talk to N. he is afraid of N.
After successful jalsa in karachi by APML, i think IK reconsidering his statement in joining hands with Musharraf......
Corrupt person by using the name of democracy doing all unconstitutional and illegal act for getting material advantage. can any parliamentarian indicate in law or constitution where corruption allowed , then why this Parliament members is doing corruption at their best. in every institution corrupt person appointed by this Government and other member are not agitating the act of unconstitutional and unlawful act and deed. .
Good Decision But Don't Do Politics on Supreme Court
IK true that Nawaz sharif is the biggest supporter of asif ali zardari with all his senses.this poliltical Mafia is just supporting each an other to save this corrupt system, but they will not do anything to save this elite class , status Que and plotted system because pakistan's are behind Imran khan . nobody can stop him to be the Next prime Minster of Pakistan,INSHALLAH
Imran Khan has not learned anything in politics. He has the same old simplistic view of things. Only time will tell if his policies were conducive for PTI or not. In politics, you never show your cards, no option is ruled out. He calls NS the biggest supporter of AZ, what about PMLQ and MQM?
instead of injecting fresh blood in Pakistan politics he is more intersted how to blend old wine in a new bottle......what good all others after excluding PMLN can do for the nation and PTI......why he is not trying to find people from knowned laywers...judges...jornalish...and real civil society of Pakistan....finding just short cuts...typical Pakistan Politician.....
@ Anum
Damn Right!! and plz add Musharaf's name to the list...............
yes plz keep those nawaz brothers far away
@Khurram
Nawaz Sharif HAS said that in the past to Zardari. IK is just repeating NS's words.
haahaaa..so IK will partener will PML N eventually..
Kaptaan sb, we totally understand you. We know your bosses' would never allow you to do that.
Dear IK, nothing is final in politics, who knows what will happen in next elections? Would you ally with PPP, MQM and PML Q to prevent PML N making govt?
Mr. Khan, now you're doing the same what PMLN has been doing since last four years. It's the time to save Pakistan. For God sake, please unite all opposition parties to get rid of this corrupt government. This is what in the better interest of Pakistan. All government parties are united but why all opposition parties are scattered?? People want change and change will come with this fall! Please do the best for Pakistan.
Does PML-N want to talk to him? Please confirm that too :)
...does this mean PTI is thinking of alliance with MQM and Q-League and APML???
Of course, since PTI is targetting PML-N vote bank only. It seems that it is even ready to accept MQM and not even comment on the questions asked regarding the earlier statements made related to going to court against them in London.
He shouldn’t give such comments; this might end up like his stance on MQM. In next elections, unless PML-N is completely wiped out, he will have no other option but a coalition government with PML-N
We want imran khan to be our next prime minster.. Thats it..
Mr. Khan, if you are pro-democratic, please refrain from joining hands with Pervaiz Musharaf....
I think you should reconsider it IK.
That is the most childish comment ever.
“Nawaz had said to [President Asif Ali] Zardari that even if the PPP [Pakistan Peoples Party] leaves you, we will be standing with you.”
Like street politics people guessing if this did not happen, then this would hae happened.
It is too early to predict captain sahib! If N&Q can join hands with PPP it is just possible to save the system because the powerfuls in Pakistan will want a hung parliament.Be clear people are not bosses. You can see what is happening around.
"Fool me once, shame on you ! Fool me twice, shame on me" ! Principled man, this Imran Khan.
Well said
