Judo: Women championship from January 18
The fifth Women Judo Championship will kick off from January 18 in Islamabad.

The fifth Women Judo Championship will kick off from January 18 in Islamabad. The event is being organised by the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) in collaboration with Pakistan Army. “We are fully committed to developing judo in the country,” said PJF Secretary Masood Ahmed. “The PJF wants to encourage women to take up the sport.” The teams that will participate in the championship include Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Fata, Islamabad, Army, Wapda, Railway, Police, PAF and HEC. Around 120 athletes will be taking part in the championship.
