Edhi begs for flood victims

Abdul Sattar Edhi on Wednesday initiated a begging campaign in Quetta for the flood victims of Balochistan.

Crouched on the roadside in Meezan chowk, the philanthropist and his daughter were collecting money for the thousands of people displaced by the recent flash floods.

Edhi claimed the money collected will be distributed equally amongst the affected. He further appealed to the people to help the victims.

According to Edhi , around 5,000 flour sacks have already been dispatched. More will be sent soon.

I gaurantee you that any money sent to him will be used to help the poor and needy, unlike other agencies in Pakistan. He truly deserves the Nobel Pize. Mr. Abdul Sattar Edhi has proved with the help of his exemplary conduct and pragmatic approach that selfless service of humanity is primary duty of every human being. He is our ray of hope. Seeing him further consolidates and strenthens our belief the good and selfless people still exist int his world where we witness ratrace among the people to outdo one another in an attempt to supersede in material gains. In this materialistic world, the people like him must be immensely supported and encouraged. His efforts to collect money for flood victims shoudd be extended and fully supported. I appeal to every Pakistan to help this great man in his noble work to get real satisfaction, peace of mind and comfort.
