Olympics: British drug bans to face arbitration

Dwain Chambers and other British drugs cheats could be cleared for London 2012 by April after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) finalised a hearing into their lifetime Olympic bans, which is scheduled for March 12, according to the BBC. Sprinter Chambers, 33, has served a ban for a positive test in 2003, but is still barred from the Olympic team by a British Olympic Association (BOA) bylaw. The BOA argues that a clean drugs record is part of its selection criteria and it should not be considered as a punishment on those who have failed tests in the past.
