Urs: January 14 to be a local holiday

LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Jawad Rafique Malik announced on Monday that January 14 will be a local holiday on account of Data Ganj Bakhsh’s urs and Hazarat Imam Hussain’s (RA) chehlum. According to the commissioner, around 4,700 police personnel and traffic wardens will be on duty. Malik also instructed CTO Ahmad Mobin to keep the road clear for ambulances in case of any emergency.
