Senior Adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister Zulfikar Khosa has questioned the integrity of Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, saying that if he couldn’t stay loyal to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, how he could remain loyal to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Speaking to journalists at the circuit house in Multan on Saturday, Khosa said that Imran Khan was ‘nothing’ compared to Nawaz Sharif. “Success can never be achieved through help from agencies and hirelings,” he added.
Khosa claimed that Hashmi would never be able to command the respect he commanded when he was a PML-N affiliate. Nawaz had termed Hashmi his successor when the former dictator had forced the PML-N chief into self-exile in Saudi Arabia.
“It’s the PML-N, not the PTI, which has a shot at a clean sweep in the next general elections. We are focusing on filling vacancies in south Punjab. Nawaz’s real followers are still standing by him and they will never sell their loyalties like Hashmi did,” Khosa said.
Khosa’s Multan trip is a part of his party’s efforts to convince Sikandar Hayat Bosan to leave the PTI and join the PML-N, sources told The Express Tribune.
Bosan, however, while confirming that the PML-N has, in fact, been trying to reel him in, said he has no intentions to switch over.

why not call Javed Hashmi a lota? or it a term reserved for only those who leave and speak against Shareefs?
With the 'karnamay' of Dost Khosa.........I think elder khosa should stay where he is. The party of Hamza shahbaz, Sohail zia butt, Aquil Anjum, Ch Ghaffor of Jails, Rana Sana, Shumaila Rana, Dost Khosa should be defeated handsomely by people of Punjab.
Khosa should know that Nawaz is no more a good option for him too. Maybe he should switch to PTI too.

I have no interest in taking sides as it's kind of hard to when they're all pretty bad and I don't have to make a choice in the future. There's one thing people tend to miss out on when the public drama starts to happen and they only take the words at face value when it's more complicated. Example being, when they call him a sellout, most people may take that as a negative campaign to defame. When really, from their side, there's an unspoken aspect. He was with PML-N for quite a while. You can bet that during that time, more than once, he claimed complete and utter loyalty to the party and swore to not leave them. Sellout is not so much a generic insult. The thought process deepens to "if he'll go back on the loyalty he claimed to have towards us, he'll go back on it no matter who it is." Taking that concept into consideration, ignoring the influences of personal opinion towards the accuser... More times than not that would actually be a fairly accurate judgment/prediction.
Bhutto, NS and several other politicians are creation of establishmentand and there is no doubt it. But did not IK also negotiating with Musharaf to become PM? It was Musharaf who ditched him at the end. Secondly, what is the purpose of secret meetings with Pasha and American Ambassador and touring USA why he is shy in acknowledging these? He is not yet in power but his party's stance on MQM and Musharaf has already changed. Let's see how many more changes we see before he comes to power

Ppl joining PTI is of bigger stature than party itself... It would be interesting to see them once they win election.. Will they listen to IMRAN or they will follow their own vestige interests... As for the agencies bit, was it not Nawaz who used "hazrat zia ul haq RA mard-e-momin" as nawaz used to say, as a launching bad. And of course the made in establishment IJI. Hashmi is a sell-out. He has gone to a party that licks the boots of establishment.
The respect a party gives to its alumni is a good reflection of the party's stature. When Shahid Qazi from PTI left, we hardly heard a disrespectful remark from PTI leadership. On the other hand, there is hardly a day that goes by when someone in PMLN leadership doesn't issue statements against Javed Hashmi.
