Inter-University: Sargodha student wins English debates

42 students of 21 universities of the province had participated in the competition.

SARGODHA: A student of University of Sargodha won the first prize in an English debate competition held in Lahore, said a press release on Thursday.

The statement said Roshan Amber Ali and Ameema Rafaqat represented the university in the competition arranged by the Higher Education Commission. It said 42 students of 21 universities of the province had participated in the competition. Roshan Amber Ali stood first. In the Chief Minister English essay writing competition, another university student Anum Ahsan stood second.

lol, Please make the correction, Roshan stood third. I can say this with utmost certainty... cos I was 1st, lol...pretty smug, but the right thing to do.
