Better Policing: Sindh police to get training

The workshops were conducted by the former Sindh IGP, Niaz Ahmad Siddique.

KARACHI: Two workshops, for greater citizen-police interaction, were organised by the Sindh police in collaboration with Shehri Citizens, at the Police Training College in Saeedabad. The workshops were conducted by the former Sindh IGP, Niaz Ahmad Siddique, and were sponsored by the National Endowment for Democracy. Siddique highlighted human rights, the role of law enforcement and criminal investigations. The participants also toured the forensics division where they learnt about the importance of crime scene investigation, the crime laboratory and forensics science in investigation of cases.
