LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday adjourned hearing of a petition against an additional district and session judge’s order issued to police on plea of former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa, seeking recovery of his former wife Sapna Khan.

Missal Khan, father of Sapna, filed this petition stating that Khosa could not seek recovery of his former wife. Missal’s counsel asked the court to disregard the additional district and session judge’s order.

Missal had alleged that the former chief minister killed his daughter Sapna, who has been missing since June. Various petitions regarding the case are in the courts, including a petition by Khosa claiming that Missal Khan is not really Sapna’s father.

Justice Sheikh Ahmad Farooq adjourned hearing for January 3.

Meanwhile, Missal filed another writ petition in the court, to summon Khosa and direct him to file an affidavit with regard to information he might have about the kidnapping and possible murder of Sapna.
