Dispelling rumours: No increase in fee for passport

Government will complete its five-year term, win the next general elections, says Rehman Malik.

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik dispelled rumours that the fee for passport was being increased and said it will remain unchanged at Rs2100. While talking to media at Karachi Airport, he said the government will complete its five-year term and win the next general elections. He said the overall law and order situation in the country has improved thanks to the strategy adopted by the government,which has also enabled political parties to hold public meetings. Malik said the opposition parties are in the habit of criticising the government.
