Battling child labour: UNICEF to set up schools in Ghotki

KARACHI: United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (Unicef) has announced that it will set up temporary schools in Khairpur and Ghotki to discourage child labour. A Unicef official said that these two districts were selected because children there are sent for cotton-picking and other small jobs by their parents.
