Security Plans: Section 144 imposed

Section 144 was imposed in the city for carrying arms in order to avoid aerial firing on New Year ’s Eve.

KARACHI: Under the Sindh government’s new-year security plan, Section 144 was imposed in the city for carrying arms in order to avoid aerial firing on New Year ’s Eve. All the arms shops in the city have also been closed to prevent their sale and emergency was declared in all the government hospitals. Pillion riding was already banned two nights ago. According to the District South DIG Commandant Shaukat Ali Shah, all the streets were blocked except Abdullah Shah Ghazi Road for going to Sea View.
