LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Nazeer Ahmed adjourned the hearing of a petition seeking to obtain the copy of a first information report (FIR) registered against former chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa and others for the alleged abduction and murder of his ex-wife Sapna Khan. A duty judge had directed the Race Course station house officer (SHO) to submit a detailed response to the petition on Saturday, but he failed to do so. Khosa’s attorney asked the judge to adjourn till January 6 as other petitions related to the case were pending in the Lahore High Court. The judge obliged. Missal Khan had asked the court to direct the police to fulfil their legal obligation to provide him a copy of the FIR. He alleges that Khosa arranged for the murder of his daughter Sapna.
