Late-Night Murder: ASI laid to rest in his hometown

ASI was gunned down by unknown assailants outside the police station.

ISLAMABAD: Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Zulfiqar, who was shot dead in his car on Wednesday night, was laid to rest in his hometown in Sargodha district on Thursday. The ASI who was working at Ramna police station in G-11 Markaz was gunned down by unknown assailants outside the police station. Two other people were also injured in the incident. Police said the incident was being probed, however, it appeared personal enmity was the motive behind the killing. The ASI was shot four times and died on the spot, while two others were also shot. They were taken to Pims and are in stable condition.
