Accident: 2 crushed by truck

FAISALABAD: A young man and his minor son were crushed to death in the Ghulam Muhammad Abad police station precincts on Monday evening. According to police officials, 26-year-old Shehzad was on his motorcycle with his 3-year-old son Umar and a speeding truck collided into them near Subhan Chowk. Ghulam Muhammad Abad. As a result, Shehzad and his son died on the spot while the truck driver fled from the scene. Local residents staged a protest against the behavior of the truck driver and blocked the main road for several hours. Police officials have registered a case and started an investigation after sending the bodies for an autopsy.
