KP assembly passes resolution against target killings

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Monday passed a resolution against the target killing of Pakhtuns in Karachi.

The resolution was tabled in the session with consensus. It demands that the target killing of Pakhtuns in Karachi must be stopped and action should be taken against members of the political parties behind these activities.

In the resolution, Sindh and Central government have been asked for protection of Pakhtuns in Karachi.

Talking to media after the assembly session, senior provincial minister Bashir Bilour said that MQM’s allegation on ANP are baseless.

He has also accused MQM for prevailing situation of unrest in Karachi.

Sultan Ahmed. | 14 years ago | Reply It is not enough, should negotiate with rival faction, that is a right way. resolution passed unanimously by the assembly that is good for your position on the negotiation table requested all quarters concerned,please become sincere and get out the nation from all crisis. God provide you chance leading the nation so it is your duty to become sincere and work for welfare of the common people,you are accountable to Allah almighty.

In the resolution, Sindh and Central government have been asked for protection of Pakhtuns in Karachi.
So only Pashtuns are being killed in Karachi ? When Karachi belongs to everyone as ANP claims then why they forgot to condemn killings of Urdu Speakings ?
