RAWALPINDI: A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her maternal uncle in Dhoke Kashmirian on Friday. The alleged rapist fled away from the scene after committing the heinous crime, police said. The Tarnol Police have registered a case and started searching for the suspect. Earlier, Shehnaz Bibi*, a resident of Allahabad area of Westridge lodged a complaint with the police that Sajid Sheijh allegedly raped her daughter. She said that she went for shopping on Friday morning only to find her daughter crying upon return. When she asked the reason, her daughter told her that Sheikh had raped her. The preliminary medical report confirmed that the girl was subjected to rape while the final report would be issued later. The police registered a case.
