Karachi Energy draw with Lahore Lajpal
The matches for the 2010 Super Football League this week concluded with Karachi Energy drawing 1-1 with Lahore Lajpal, while Tribe FC Peshawar failed to book their berth in the semi-finals when they levelled 1-1 with Quetta Zorawer.
Peshawar needed to win their last match to make it into the final four but their draw on Friday, made them fall one point behind defending champions Islamabad United.
In the second match of the week, Lahore faced Karachi in a tight 1-1 draw. Karachi’s Khuda Bakhsh scored an 88th minute goal on a penalty kick but Lahore’s Mohammad Asim managed to equalise the score in the additional time.
