KARACHI: The new recruits to the Sindh jail police will be given advanced training for the first time, said Sindh Minister for Jails Law and Parliamentary Affairs Muhammad Ayaz Soomro at a meeting held at the Sindh Assembly Building. The jail police recruits will be trained at the Sindh Prison Staff Training Institute in Hyderabad. They will be trained in criminology, psychology, social issues and civil defence. Soomro said that the officials who fail the courses will be fired.
